‘Issy the Galah’

Named after the artist’s daughter, Issy, this work was created as a heartfelt expression of love and creativity. When redesigning her bedroom, Issy requested a soft pink artwork featuring a quirky galah — a brief that became the foundation for this playful yet tender piece.

Blending softness with character, the galah is brought to life through layered acrylic, complemented by accents of gold metallic leaf that introduce warmth and gentle luminosity.

Though originally created for a personal space, the work is now offered for sale with Issy’s blessing — on the condition that another masterpiece will take its place.
