This was the last image she posted to me before she passed away in September 2025 — tucked inside a gorgeous engagement card. She said the picture reminded her of Kade and me and suggested it would make a beautiful painting.Ta da… so I painted it. 🎨\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI actually finished this artwork before Mum went to heaven, though sadly, she never got to see it. It holds such deep emotional meaning for me. When a client recently asked if I had any Kookaburra artworks available, I told them I’d just finished a pair but was saving them for my next exhibition. Once they saw a photo, they said — “Consider it sold.” Although the original has now sold, this piece means so much to me that I’ve decided to release it as a limited edition print.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"_04xlpA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"WdYUQQ text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"\u003eIt’s a piece made with love — inspired by my beautiful Mum’s picture, painted soon after Kade and I announced our engagement. There’s something comforting in knowing that Mum adored Kade and recognised the size of his heart. I named this piece ‘The Lovebirds – Kade and Clare’.
